- The canvas is rolled with silicone paper and protected inside a rigid cardboard tube, designed to safeguard the painting during transport.
- This method is the most commonly used, as it is more economical in terms of shipping costs, especially for large-format works.
- Once you receive the canvas, it is important that you take it to a professional to have it re-mounted on a frame (regardless of framing).
2. Shipping with the Canvas Mounted on the Stretcher (Intact)
- The artwork is shipped as is, on its frame (unframed), inside a rigid box closed with screws and padded inside, custom-made for the specific artwork.
- This method eliminates the need to re-mount the painting, offering convenience and time savings for the customer.
- Due to the dimensions and the care required, this shipping may incur a higher packaging and transportation cost.
- If the artwork is painted on a board or another rigid support, this same packaging method will be used.
- Depending on the size and weight, the cost of this shipping may vary.
